HardBall 5 1996 All-Star Break Rosters                   July 26, 1996

This additional league for HardBall 5 contains the Major League
Baseball team rosters as of the 1996 All-Star Break.


How to install the league file
------------------------------
(1) Download the file HB5LGDAS.EXE file into the HardBall 5 directory
    on your hard drive (the default is C:\HB5).

(2) Go to a DOS prompt.

(3) From the DOS prompt, type the following:

        C: [Enter]
        CD\HB5 [Enter]
        HB5ASB96 [Enter]

The file MLBASB96.LGD should then be created in the HardBall 5
directory.


How to use the new league file
------------------------------

(1) From the HardBall 5 League Standings screen, select Change Leagues.

(2) Select MLBASB96.LGD, and you're ready to play using the new league
    file!


Notes about this new league file
--------------------------------
>>> There is no historical data on the included players, since they are
    only half-way through the 1996 season.  They will perform according
    to the given ratings.


Other patches
-------------
At the time of this writing, there is a version 5.12 patch for HardBall
5 which fixes a number of bugs in the program, and adds numerous
enhancements over version 5.00.  You can determine the revision you
have by selecting Setup from the HardBall 5 Main Menu.  You will see
your HardBall 5 version number near the top of of the Setup window.
